North Herts Leisure Centre is set in beautiful landscaped grounds within Letchworth Garden City, just off Junction 9 of the A1. Free ample parking is available. A friendly atmosphere awaits anyone who wants to use this facility.
North Herts Leisure Centre has been rated Excellent by Quest. This is the third time in a row that the centre has been awarded the Excellent banding and is a huge achievement which the centre's team are all very proud of.
North Herts Leisure Centre has a Tropical Wave Pool perfectly designed to relax and unwind in. Slide on down our wacky Water Flume or enter the super Tropical Pool, which boasts a fun Wave Machine.
Swimming lessons and courses are available through the AquaEd SwimSchool Programme.
Enjoy our 60 station technogym equipped Fitness Suite, which offers you a large range of Cardiovascular and Resistance equipment. A wide and varied programme of activities is always on offer with an extensive programme that offers classes for all ages and abilities. There is also a dedicated personal training zone, adjacent to the fitness suite.
The Sports Hall offers a varied programme of activities to enjoy from Football, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Judo, Badminton. Squash courts are also available.
You can relax and unwind after a workout or activity. Our café is also the perfect venue to meet friends and relax. Choose from a delicious range on our menu, which includes delicious home cooked foods - there should be something to satisfy even the most discerning palette.
A sample menu may include salads, soups, sandwiches and baguettes burgers, chips and nuggets as well as pies and scampi. A range of cold and hot drinks including Slush Puppy drinks and Costa Coffee are also available.

The new café will be located at the front of the centre and is scheduled to open Monday 29th May. There will only be vending machines available during the 3 weeks of construction. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are sure that the new catering facilities will be worth the wait.
