From a young age I have always been into sports and fitness. I am passionate about keeping fitness levels up and concentrating on nutrition. In my spare time I enjoy staying healthy and fit by attending the gym. When I’m at the gym I enjoy different types of training such as weight training, circuit training and muscular isolation training. These types of training can involve muscle growth, toning and improvement of the cardiovascular system (general fitness). If you need any advice or tips I would be more than happy to help you achieve your goals.

I’m also interested in the apparel wear of the fitness industry which has lead me to follow my prospects of creating my own gym wear whilst currently at Bedfordshire University studying a Sports Science and PT BSc (Hons) Degree.

Fitness and sports has always been a massive hobby of mine and something I really do enjoy doing in my spare time. There are so many benefits to exercise and living a healthy lifestyle - I love to share these and my own experiences with individuals who are currently on or looking to start their fitness journey. I enjoy being with my children, exploring in the woods, going for bike rides and swimming. To keep myself fit I really enjoy the gym, body balance and Pilates. I used to be a competitive swimmer and spent many hours mainly in the pool. I have run countless 10k and half of my greatest sporting achievements were running the London marathon. I spent many hours pounding the streets during six months of dedicated training!

Being a competitive swimmer as a teenager, I’ve always had a keen eye on fitness.  Fast-forward to the age of 19 and a friend took me to the weights room, from there swimming took a back seat and weight training blossomed.  In my mid 20’s I myself employed the services of a PT, who duly pushed me to my maximum, achieving lifts that most wouldn’t believe possible.

Now today due to a spinal injury 24months ago, I have had to build myself back up slowly to hitting the heights of my 20’s, kilogram by kilogram I’m getting there.  That same injury caused my 15 years as a Police Constable to be unmanageable through various professional reasons. Rather than dwell, I retrained in a field I’ve always held passion for, Fitness – my personal circumstances cause me to focus very much on technique/ form, firstly to avoid wherever possible injury, and a secondary benefit is maximum power going into that exercise.

I work on a basis that everyone is unique, so with that everyone has strengths and weaknesses and no exercise fits everyone – however saying that I also believe there is no hurdle to stop any single person doing some form of exercise.  So whatever your GOAL, whatever your hurdle, together we can overcome it.
