Corporate Health and Wellbeing Manager Wins Award

On Wednesday 22 February 2017, Hertfordshire’s Excellence in Public Health Awards were held at Hertfordshire County Council’s Public Health Conference. At this, Juanita Prescott, Corporate Health and Wellbeing Manager for SLL was presented with an award for outstanding contribution to improving health and wellbeing.

Throughout SLL’s 19 sites, Juanita has been involved with fundraising for specialist equipment, developing the Healthy Hub Stevenage, leading the Exercise Referral Scheme, improving social interaction within fitness sessions, running a Boditax Project, organising the annual Health Action Day, taking part in various charity work and educating the community overall on the importance of health and wellbeing.
