Gordon Craig Wins Panto Award!

Managed by Stevenage Leisure Ltd (SLL) in partnership with SBC, the 505 seat Gordon Craig Theatre was presented with the Pantomime of the Year (under 750 seats) Award for its 2018 Jordan Productions show. Hannah Jane Fox, who played the panto’s baddie, was also named Best Female Villain of the year.

The Great British Pantomime Awards celebrates the Pantomime Industry. Judges are selected from a range of backgrounds including industry professionals, theatre academics, media and communication professionals and members of the public.

Ian Morton, SLL’s Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted that the Gordon Craig Theatre has received such prestigious recognition for the pantomime. It’s a fantastic achievement for the whole team and Jordan Productions and showcases the hard work put in throughout the year. Congratulations also to Hannah Jane Fox who fought off stiff competition such as Dawn French and Sue Pollard to land her award.”
