Saturday 24 September once again brings Health Action Day, and you can join in the fun at North Herts Leisure Centre. The day offers free stalls, activities for the family, free Boditrax scans and health tests, so come along and get involved.
Health Action Day is an annual event organised by SLL and is for the many people who want to improve their health, wellbeing and physical activity levels but need guidance and professional help to ensure that they receive the best advice. As well as stalls and advice from health professionals and voluntary groups, there is a timetable of activities for all the family to take part in.
Activities on offer for the day include:
Free taster classes for 11-15 year olds
09.30 - 10.00 Junior Spin (140cm height minimum)
10.15 - 10.45 Junior Circuits
11.00 - 11.30 Zumba (juniors & adults welcome)
09.00 - 10.00 Step
09.00 - 10.00 Cardiac Rehab Display
10.00 - 12.00 Badminton 2 courts (half hour rotations)
10.15 - 11.30 Yoga (Juniors & adults welcome)
09.00 - 12.00 Free Boditrax testing
09.00 - 12.00 Free sessions (adults & 11-15 year olds welcome)
