Peter Pan is a flying success!

01.12.2016

It’s not Christmas without Panto, and this year for the first time, Peter Pan has flown into SLL’s Gordon Craig Theatre and earned fantastic praise from the audience and reviewers.

With appearances from Paul Laidlaw who is celebrating his 30th year of pantomimes, Aidan O’Neill who is back for a third year by popular demand, Britain’s Got Talent finalists Twist and Pulse and Emmerdale’s Tom Lister, Peter Pan is taking the audience by storm and it is easy to see why it is one of the longest running pantomimes in the country.

The reviews have been coming in and the feedback has so far been phenomenal:

“With Ewan Goddard flying through the air in the title role with Wendy Darling (Laura Baldwin) by his side, a roller-skating Tinker Bell (Amanda Coutts), a Mermaid in her own ‘pool’ complete with dazzling water effects, and a huge crocodile ready to swallow the evil Captain Hook, Peter Pan captivated the hundreds of youngsters in the Lytton Way theatre.”

“The set and scenery were amazing.”

“Second year at Gordon Craig panto and we loved it again. Fantastic singing, great dancing and brilliant cast. Would 100% recommend it, great fun for all the family.”

“Took our son here for the first time to see Peter Pan, had a great experience! He loved it and so did we! Going to book up again for the next show! No negatives, had a fab time and thought it was a really good show.”

Peter Pan is one of the Gordon Craig’s fasting selling pantomime to date, and is on course to be the most successful pantomime of all. Tickets for next year’s Panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, are now on sale with seats already selling.

Peter Pan runs until 22 January 2017. Tickets are available online at www.gordon-craig.co.uk or you can phone the box office on 01438 363200.
