SLL Wins Two National Customer Service Awards

Stevenage Leisure Limited (SLL) again achieved national recognition, winning two major awards against stiff competition at the prestigious WOW! Awards Gala Ceremony held recently in London.

The WOW! Awards recognise outstanding customer service based solely on customer nominations. It’s all about catching people doing things right. At this year’s event SLL was presented with the ‘Enhancing your Community – Best Organisation’ award, whilst the Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre achieved the ‘Wow! What a Team’ award.

Commenting on SLL, the judges said: “The team that came to present were extremely passionate and very in touch with their customers. They go over and above to provide new activities for the community to engage in. They were extremely innovative, have great passion and drive and a huge ‘can do’ attitude – that made the difference.”

Regarding Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre, the judges said: “The team gave a fantastic presentation, really emotional. The thing that swayed it was how they really went the extra mile in dealing with an event that you wouldn’t normally have to deal with. The team pulled together to deliver the event, and they just showed a fantastic team spirit.”

The finalists were judged by an independent panel of experts from high profile organisations, media and academia.
