Situated within the beautiful natural environment of Norton Common, Letchworth Outdoor Pool is often quoted as "One of the best outdoor pools in Hertfordshire". The heated 50 metre swimming pool and toddler pool are surrounded by a grassed sunbathing area. A variety of hot and cold refreshments are available in the terrace area from our cafe.

Hot Weather Band System

SLL and North Herts Council will be introducing a band system for pay as you go customers at peak times during the 2023 season at Letchworth Outdoor Pool. 

The aim is to improve customer experience by reducing long queues, relieving parking difficulties and allowing more people to take advantage of the outdoor pool on hot days and in the summer holidays. 

The band system will be in place every day of the school summer holidays and also on hot weather days outside of the holidays. Outside of the holidays we will communicate when the system will be in place on the website and social media channels.
