Do you have a medical condition? Want to be more active but not sure what you can do? SLL’s Exercise Referral Scheme takes your medical condition, ability & fitness level into account. Working under the guidance of highly qualified fitness professionals in a safe, effective, supervised environment, we will find an activity suitable for you.

How can I join?
Download the Exercise Referral form here and ask your Medical Professional or G.P. if you be referred. Once your Medical Clearance Form has been signed, contact your local centre to arrange your consultation with the Exercise Referral Coordinator.

What happens at the consultation?
Your present medical problems, medical history and medication will be discussed, as will your physical ability to exercise so that suitable activities can be prescribed. If your preferred option is the gym, an appointment will be made for an induction where you will be given a unique programme that will be specific to your needs.

Since 1998, the Exercise Referral Scheme has helped thousands to improve their health, wellbeing and fitness.
