16.11.2018

SLL have been included in the Royal Society of Public Health's "Health on the High Street: Running on Empty 2018" report. An article written by Juanita Prescott (Corporate Health and Wellbeing Manager) focuses on SLL's successful Exercise Referral programme as well as the Healthy Hub Stevenage.

The Royal Society of Public Health's report "expands on the original high street analysis, reflecting the ever-changing face of Britain's retail environment. Their campaign offers practical guidance for local authorities and members of the public who want to make their high street more health promoting".

The full report can be found here, with Juanita's article on page 22.

SLL's exercise referral programme has been running for over 20 years, in that time we have helped thousands of people with a wide range of chronic medical conditions to enjoy the benefits of physical activity under the supervision of qualified instructors.
