Stevenage FC U18 shown the ropes at Fairlands!

10.09.2019

Stevenage Football Club’s Under 18 squad were put through their paces with some training of a different kind by taking part in a team building session at Fairlands Valley Outdoor Activities Centre in Stevenage at the end of August.

The team took part in an afternoon of activities including the High Ropes Course and Crate Stacking with the goal of improving confidence, team work, agility and communication; all necessary skills for any aspiring professional footballer. The players are hoping their newly honed skills will translate to success on the pitch, with the season now well and truly underway.

Gavin Davis, Fairlands Valley Outdoor Activities Centre Manager, commented “Fairlands works with many organisations, groups and schools to provide safe and challenging activities that are great for team bonding and it was a pleasure working with Stevenage Football Club to provide these team activities”.

The group were accompanied by two of Boro’s academy coaches and retired first team legends Ronnie Henry and Alex Revell.
